Job summary

Ericsson seeks a curious, business-minded lawyer to join the Group Function Legal Affairs team supporting EEWS across EMEA and APAC. You will draft and negotiate a broad spectrum of commercial and technology agreements, advise on data privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and regulatory matters, and contribute to playbooks and processes to scale the business.

The role requires 5+ years post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in-house at a tech company, and a collaborative, proactive approach

Qualifications

  • Qualified lawyer admitted or licensed to practise in a recognised jurisdiction.
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience as a practising lawyer.
  • At least 2 years in-house experience at a technology company.
  • Experience supporting SaaS, hardware, and/or enterprise software transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and technology agreements (SaaS, software licence, hardware, OEM, distributor, MSP, etc.).
  • Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance on commercial contracting, data privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and regulatory compliance across EMEA and APAC.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve legal playbooks, templates, and contracting processes to increase efficiency.
  • Educate and train internal teams on legal, compliance, and contracting best practices.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives that support EEWS's growth and innovation agenda.
  • Collaborate with global legal and cross-functional stakeholders to align legal strategies with business priorities.
  • Anticipate changes to laws and regulations affecting EEWS's commercial activities.
