Job summary

EY is seeking a Tax Director to join our Financial Services International Tax and Transactions Services team in Reading. You’ll lead sophisticated multi-country tax projects, advise clients on complex structures, and drive new business opportunities while mentoring junior colleagues.

Ideal candidates will have significant international tax experience, a track record with Financial Services clients, and professional qualifications such as ATT/ACA/CA/CTA.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a tax practitioner, including strong reviewing skills and expertise in international tax.
• Experience working with Financial Services clients.
• A professional qualification such as ATT, ACA, CA or CTA, or equivalent breadth of technical knowledge, for example through a legal qualification.

Responsibilities

• Building trusted client relationships and delivering exceptional service to senior stakeholders.
• Leading the delivery of complex tax projects with technical excellence and commercially focused advice.
• Identifying and developing new opportunities using market awareness and EY knowledge.
• Contributing to proposals and business development for EY's Financial Services tax offering.
• Building internal and external networks to create opportunities for collaboration and growth.
• Leading and developing junior colleagues, providing coaching and on-the-job development.
