Job summary

Insights, headquartered in Dundee, is seeking an International Tax Manager to lead our global tax strategy and cross-border compliance. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will partner with senior leaders and external advisers to drive governance, risk management and tax optimisation as we expand globally.

You will influence strategic decisions, oversee multi-jurisdictional tax matters and shape tax processes across the Group with a focus on commercial practicality and value.

Qualifications

• CTA, ACA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant corporate tax experience in practice or international in-house.
• Strong knowledge of international tax and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
• Expertise in transfer pricing, reporting and corporate tax compliance.
• Experience advising senior stakeholders and influencing decisions.
• Ability to collaborate across global teams.
• Experience in professional services, tech or international growth organisation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Insights' global tax strategy.
• Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide expert guidance on international and cross-border tax matters, including transfer pricing.
• Identify and maximise available tax incentives and relief opportunities.
• Partner with senior stakeholders on expansion activities, restructuring projects, acquisitions and transformation initiatives.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisers and regulatory authorities.
• Lead tax forecasting, reporting and planning activities across the Group.
• Monitor emerging legislation and international tax developments.
• Strengthen tax governance, controls and risk management practices.
• Support and develop tax awareness and capability within the Finance team.
