Job summary

PRO TAX in Milton Keynes is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to lead a portfolio of corporate and owner-managed tax clients. The role blends technical tax work with advisory input, monitoring compliance and driving growth within the department.

You will guide a team, manage fees and contribute to business development while liaising with the firm's international network. A strong corporate tax background and people management experience are essential.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification required or equivalent.
• Experience in corporate or business tax within a UK accountancy practice.
• Technically strong with complex companies and groups.
• Confident managing a portfolio and client relationships.
• Commercially aware with ability to spot advisory and business opportunities.
• Experience in people management and developing juniors.
• Organised with ability to meet deadlines; Alphatax knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of corporate and business tax clients.
• Oversee annual corporation tax compliance and reporting.
• Advise on tax risks, HMRC matters and planning opportunities.
• Work with complex groups and address related corporate tax issues.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional tax and business services.
• Manage fees, billing and WIP across portfolio.
• Review work and support junior colleagues' development.
• Contribute to appraisals and team progression.
• Support Partners with business development and marketing.
• Assist with queries across the firm’s international network.
