Job summary

GoCardless Ltd., a Mollie company and a global leader in bank payments, is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee corporation tax, VAT and transfer pricing across a small global group. The role combines 80% BAU compliance and 20% advisory, with opportunities to improve systems and processes and support the Head of Tax.

The position is fixed-term to cover a leave period, with handover provided, and requires strong UK tax expertise, advisory skills, and a proactive approach to automation and data

Qualifications

• CTA or ACA qualification with in‑house, Big 4, or tax advisory background.
• Strong knowledge of UK direct and indirect taxes and payroll taxes.
• Experience turning complex tax rules into practical business guidance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global tax compliance, filing and payments.
• Review indirect tax filings and system processes for efficiency.
• Manage US tax reporting obligations for payment processors.
• Support transfer pricing policy and employee share schemes.
• Collaborate with Mollie integration and tax teams.
