Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd is seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to drive supplier audits, approve and monitor supplier performance, and support continuous improvement across a global network. The role collaborates with Procurement, Quality, Certification and Airworthiness teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.

You will manage supplier audits, QMS alignment, and contribute to continuous improvement of SQA policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and EN/AS9100 quality systems.
• Understanding of regulatory standards (EASA Part 21G, FAA FAR21).
• Fundamentals of quality tools and techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Interpretation of information against requirements.
• Willingness to travel domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

• Assist SQA in providing a new supplier approval service to deliver quality on time.
• Manage Corrective Action Requests and ensure timely closure.
• Maintain a global list of approved suppliers and their scopes.
• Provide guidance on supplier quality requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent SQA at meetings and reviews as requested.
• Review and approve supplier Quality Plans against LH requirements.
• Collaborate with LH suppliers and geographies on common procedures.
• Develop tools and techniques to improve team performance.
• Follow Company OS and regulatory requirements.
