Job summary

Westway, Glasgow-based Project Manager role within James Fisher’s Defence Division. Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-value submarine rescue projects, adhering to PMO processes and governance, while reporting to SLT on performance and risks.

Role embeds in the Defence Submarine Rescue Team, with global travel as projects dictate, and accountability for P&L, delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management of defence maritime projects.
• Knowledge of UK and international defence contracting terms.
• APM Project Fundamentals & Project Management qualification (or equivalent).
• Security clearance appropriate for defence market.
• Experience managing complex customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects within JFD’s global Defence portfolio.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present project reports per PMO processes.
• Communicate project status through management levels, including KPI reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GPEP and governance throughout the project.
