Job summary

Nscale is seeking an experienced investigator to own the SpeakUp hotline globally, ensuring concerns are heard, fairly handled, and turned into improvements. You will oversee intake, triage, fact-finding, reporting and remediation as the company scales across new countries.

You will monitor compliance with whistleblowing, data protection and employment law across jurisdictions, interview witnesses, and prepare outcome reports for senior leadership and committees.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in investigations, compliance or legal roles.
• Hands-on experience running or supporting a whistleblowing or ethics hotline, including triage, case management and reporting to senior leadership and committees.
• Strong interviewing skills and sound knowledge of evidence handling, confidentiality and fair-process principles.
• Working knowledge of whistleblowing, data protection and employment law considerations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent report writing: clear, fact-based findings that stand up to Legal, Audit Committee and regulator scrutiny.
• Sound judgement, discretion and the ability to handle highly sensitive matters with empathy and impartiality.

Responsibilities

• Own the SpeakUp Hotline Operations and case management platform; configure, triage, and communicate across channels.
• Manage the relationship with the platform provider; contract obligations, renewals, budget, and service levels.
• Prepare investigation plans; interview reporters, witnesses and subjects; gather and analyse evidence; write outcome reports and recommendations.
• Preserve privilege; apply local-law requirements; coordinate with outside counsel within budget.
• Set and enforce case data standards; monitor quality; manage access, audit trails, confidentiality and retention.
• Refine programme metrics; maintain leadership dashboards; produce SpeakUp reports with reconciled figures.
• Turn outcomes into lessons learned; share anonymised case studies; feed insights into policy updates and training.
