AVEVA is seeking an Internal Controls Analyst to support our SOX program. The role sits in Cambridge or London (hybrid) and involves global scoping, walkthrough preparation, and evidence management for control design and testing across regions.

Ideal candidates have SOX testing experience, IFRS knowledge, and strong stakeholder management, with proficiency in Excel/Power BI and data scripting. This role partners with Internal Audit and External Audit teams globally.

Qualifications

• Experience in an audit function (internal or external) or controls
• Experience testing SOX controls, understanding PCAOB requirements
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and controls
• Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Proficiency with Excel/Power BI and data scripting

Responsibilities

• Perform global scoping assessments for internal controls
• Coordinate and manage walkthrough preparation
• Test internal controls to meet SOX requirements
• Collaborate with cross‑location teams to ensure consistent control design/testing
• Support with audits: status reports and evidence collation
• Maintain evidence for critical controls in the system
• Identify and report control design/operating concerns
• Support external and internal audit relations
