Job summary

Nomura is seeking a Software Procurement Lead to join the Group Sourcing function in London. The role focuses on developing the software spend category strategy, negotiating enterprise licenses, and managing cross-functional, cross-regional supplier engagements.

You will work with senior internal clients and external vendors, lead RFPs and renewals, and drive cost efficiency and contract risk mitigation across global software contracts.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification or equivalent.
• CIPS or other professional Sourcing/Procurement qualification desirable.
• Experience sourcing the relevant spend categories in a blue-chip environment with leading commercial and contract activities.
• Experience negotiating enterprise software licensing agreements (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce).
• Knowledge of pricing, contracting mechanisms and software asset management principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop spend category strategy with stakeholders and manage delivery.
• Provide oversight to category-wide efficiency and governance initiatives.
• Lead internal/market analysis, RFPs and renewals for global agreements.
• Influence sourcing strategy and negotiate complex contracts with vendors.
• Maintain deal pipelines and present deal summaries to senior stakeholders.
