Job summary

Nomura is seeking a Software Procurement Lead in London to join the Group Sourcing team on a temporary contract through March 2027. The role involves leading software spend strategy, supplier negotiations, and governance across global/cross-regional projects. Hybrid working in London is available.

You will interact with senior internal clients and external vendors, drive deal delivery, and support continuity planning and risk management within a banking environment.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent.
• CIPS or other professional sourcing qualification is desirable.
• Experience leading commercial and contract activities across spend categories.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Sourcing Category Lead – Software in developing spend category strategy with stakeholders.
• Manage and oversee category-wide efficiency and governance initiatives.
• Lead internal/market analysis, competitive bidding, and negotiation for regional/global agreements; maintain deal pipelines.
