Job summary

WSP is seeking an International Social Development Specialist to lead social risk management across infrastructure and finance projects globally. You will guide ESDD and SIA, advise on land acquisition, livelihoods, stakeholder engagement and human rights per IFC/Equator Principles.

The role spans multiple geographies, involves working with lenders and developers, and includes mentoring the ESG team, supporting business development, and traveling internationally.

Qualifications

• Degree in social sciences or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Significant experience in social sustainability or ESG advisory.
• Experience with international development and finance projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead major international Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) and Social Impact Assessments.
• Advise on social risk across projects from development to operation.
• Support lenders and developers through due diligence and monitoring.
• Provide guidance on land acquisition, resettlement, livelihoods, stakeholder engagement, and human rights.
• Mentor and develop ESG team members.
