Job summary

IRCA Group is seeking a reliable Shift Engineer to join our team. The role covers maintenance of extrusion, chocolate coating and bakery equipment, requiring hands-on mechanical and electrical skills. PLC and inverter experience would be advantageous.

The candidate should be proactive, capable of working independently or as part of a team, and prepared for a 42-hour week with weekend work. NVQ Level 3 in maintenance engineering or electrical engineering is required, with FMCG experience highly

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in maintenance or electrical engineering is required.
• Experience in FMCG environments is essential.
• Pneumatics knowledge is desirable.
• 18th Edition IEE regs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain extrusion, chocolate coating and bakery equipment.
• Perform breakdown repairs, machine servicing and small improvement projects.
• Be self-sufficient, proactive and work in a team or alone as required.
