Posithread was established in 1986 to manufacture and grind carbide inserts specifically for the threading market. Over the last ten years, Posithread has expanded, introducing new threading product lines and now incorporates the manufacture of Oilfield Premium Threads under License to VAM, JFE, TENARIS, and NIPPON STEEL. Our inserts are designed and manufactured on site by highly trained grinding technicians using state-of-the-art 5-axis profile grinders. We are now looking to expand our manufacturing capabilities beyond threading products.
We are seeking a driven, experienced sales professional to join the Posithread team to lead global sales efforts for our current and expanding range of cutting tools and services.
You will be a skilled account manager, a new business hunter, and technically knowledgeable within cutting tools and CNC machining. Success will require a strong commercial understanding and patience and tenacity to negotiate exclusive partnerships working collaboratively with country partners and distributors. Your main success measure will be growing our relationships and business mainly within Europe, with some additional markets when opportunities arise. You will also help develop our product ranges by sharing your experience and identifying new manufacturing opportunities.
This position is based in the United Kingdom; however, extensive travel will be required, approximately 50% UK-based, working remotely and on-site, and 50% traveling within Europe and beyond to engage with customers.
