Posithread was established in 1986 to manufacture and grind carbide inserts specifically for the threading market. Over the last ten years Posithread has expanded, introducing new threading product lines and now incorporates the manufacture of Oilfield Premium Threads under License to: VAM, JFE, TENARIS, NIPPON STEEL Our inserts are designed and manufactured on site by a staff of highly trained grinding technicians, utilising state-of-the-art 5 axis profile grinders. We are now in a position to expand our manufacturing capability beyond threading products.
We are seeking a driven, experienced, sales professional to join the Posithread team to lead Global sales efforts for our current and expanding range of cutting tools and services.
You will be a highly skilled account manager, a new business hunter and technically sound within cutting tools and CNC Machining. Success will require a sound commercial understanding and having patience and tenacity to negotiate exclusive partnerships working collaboratively with numerous country partners and distributors. Your core measure of success will be growing our relationships and business mainly within Europe with some additional markets when opportunities present. Using your market knowledge you will also help us develop our product ranges by sharing your experience and identifying new manufacturing opportunities.
This position is based in the United Kingdom however extensive traveling will be required approximately 50% UK based, working remotely and on site and 50% travelling to engage with our customers within Europe and beyond.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies that balance financial objectives with customer satisfaction
•Identify and pursue new market opportunities through thorough market research and analysis
•Proactively arrange and conduct business meetings with potential clients
•Present and promote company products/services with a consultative approach
•Create and deliver customized proposals addressing specific client business needs
•Maintain detailed pipeline of sales activities, revenue, and client interactions
•Provide responsive after-sales support and maintain high client satisfaction
•Foster and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers
•Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision makers at National Distributor levels
•Create and deliver compelling presentations on new products and services
•Assist with the Development of our product range
•Promote Posithread at Global Exhibitions
