Alkegen in the United Kingdom seeks a Global Safety Manager to lead safety, health and environmental initiatives across the business unit. You will drive a risk-based SHE program, develop audits, and mentor site teams to reduce incidents and injuries.
As a visible leader, you’ll work with Global Safety Director and BU operations, deploying Safe Systems of Work, conducting root-cause analyses, and promoting continuous improvement to safeguard people and assets worldwide.

Ultimately, the Global Safety Manager is responsible for the reduction of accidents and incidents (including fires) within the business unit by creating and sustaining an interdependent safety culture where employees at all levels take pride in ownership and accountability for results.
The purpose of the Global Safety Manager is to support the Global Safety Director in the development and deployment of SHE strategy for Alkegen and work with the Business Unit Operations Director and Plant Managers in the deployment of their responsibilities in relation to the strategy.
The Global Safety Manager will be a proven completer finisher and self-starter capable of leading direct and indirect reports, influencing behaviours and delivering results.
Salary: USD $135,000–$165,000 per year
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
