Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group seeks a Head of Procurement to lead RF Power direct procurement and Chelmsford site indirect procurement. You will shape strategy, manage key supplier relationships and drive value, quality and resilience across the supply chain.

This senior role requires strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and the ability to influence at all levels. On-site, permanent position with growth opportunities within a global business.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in procurement leadership within manufacturing or technology sectors.
• Proven track record in direct and indirect procurement, including contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Demonstrated success delivering cost savings, efficiency gains and process improvements across procurement functions.
• Strong strategic-thinking capability with experience developing and executing procurement strategies.
• Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills and stakeholder focus.
• Collaborative and inclusive leadership capable of driving change.

Responsibilities

• Lead all procurement activity for RF Power and indirect procurement for the Chelmsford site.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Analyse spend and negotiate to achieve savings targets.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships and manage performance across quality, delivery and cost.
• Drive best practice across processes, systems and supplier management.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering and Finance for integrated planning.
• Provide procurement governance and KPI reporting to support decisions.
• Lead, develop and inspire the procurement team and uphold ethical standards.
