Job summary

Travel Counsellors Limited is hiring a Retail Reconciliations Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract to manage supplier statements and ensure timely, controlled reconciliations across global entities.

You will investigate variances, collaborate with Technology, Admin, Commercial and other Finance teams, and drive improvements while maintaining strong supplier relationships and payment controls.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Confident and professional with a customer and supplier service mindset.
• Team player who is approachable and collaborates across functions.
• Strong numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to manage queries and escalations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end retail supplier statement reconciliations across Travel Counsellors global entities.
• Manage not-on-account activity ensuring items are investigated and resolved per controls.
• Own query management for retail suppliers with clear, timely responses and resolution.
• Handle supplier escalations, highlighting material risks and recurring issues to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Technology, Admin, Commercial and Triage teams for root-cause analysis.
• Maintain SOPs and knowledge sharing across the team.
