Qualifications

• Exceptional academic record with an undergraduate degree in a STEM field.
• Experience with Ubuntu or another Linux distribution.
• Proficiency in at least one of Python, Rust, C/C++, Golang, JavaScript or Java.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work in a distributed team.
• Personal projects in technology and software engineering beyond the curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Write high quality, resilient, and performant code in one of Python, Rust, C/C++, Golang, JavaScript or Java.
• Shaped roadmap for your product at global sprints every six months.
• Focus on design and user experience for developer tooling and command line apps.
• Engage with users and the open source community through code reviews and issue trackers.
• Collaborate with teams across Linux system areas from BIOS to desktop applications.
