Job summary

Hayati is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Manager / Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support international market access and regulatory compliance for vaping, e-cigarette and nicotine-related products. Based in Manchester, this on-site role focuses on interpreting regulations, coordinating with laboratories and regulatory bodies, and guiding development and marketing teams to ensure compliance.

The successful candidate will have direct regulatory experience with vaping products and fluency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Toxicology, Pharmacy, Engineering, Tobacco Science, Law or similar.
• Regulatory affairs experience in product compliance or market access.
• Direct experience with vaping, e-cigarette, tobacco or related products.
• Strong understanding of e-cigarette/vaping regulations in at least one key region (UK/EU/US/Middle East).
• Familiarity with UK vaping product requirements (TPD) and US FDA requirements.
• Experience translating regulations and standards into test scopes, docs or market-entry plans.
• Experience coordinating labs, testing bodies, regulatory consultants or client projects.
• Ability to review test scopes and regulatory reports; laboratory work not required.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Research, monitor and interpret vaping, e-cigarette and nicotine-product regulations across UK, Europe, US, Middle East and target markets.
• Maintain regulatory information and advise internal stakeholders on market-entry, product-testing, registration and documentation requirements.
• Liaise with overseas laboratories, testing providers, regulatory consultants and external organisations to confirm standards, testing scopes and timelines.
• Coordinate and monitor product testing, notification and registration projects; identify gaps and follow up on actions.
• Review testing plans, reports and supporting documents for regulatory adequacy.
• Provide regulatory guidance to Product Development, R&D, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
• Review packaging, labelling, warnings, descriptions and marketing claims from a regulatory perspective.
• Prepare regulatory summaries, internal guidance and training materials; deliver regular compliance training.
