Job summary

GKN Aerospace in Luton is seeking a Site Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement across the site. You will partner with senior leadership to ensure product safety, quality and regulatory compliance for aerospace programs.

The role focuses on COPQ reduction, 8D/RCCA problem solving, and auditing across customers and authorities. You will build a high-performing team and foster a culture of quality and accountability.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Quality/Engineering with industry standards knowledge.
• Experience implementing ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems.
• Proven track record in quality audits and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site Quality Management System and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate internal and supplier audits and drive issue resolution.
• Analyze quality data to drive COPQ reduction and continuous improvement.
• Provide governance and leadership to foster a quality culture across the site.
• Lead 8D/RCCA investigations and risk-based decision making.
