Job summary

Membership Bespoke seeks a Technical, Quality & Governance Professional to join its Head Office in Ashford, Kent, to govern and develop a global audit programme. You will oversee audits across an international network, interpreting standards and strengthening policy and quality.

You will work with experienced auditors and technical specialists to ensure consistent, professional audits and continuous improvement within the organisation. Lead Auditor and ISO 9001 expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Lead Auditor qualification essential.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 essential.
• Minimum of three years' experience at Lead Auditor or equivalent level.
• Strong knowledge of internal and third-party audit methodologies.
• Experience in audit planning, scheduling, report writing and classification of audit outcomes.
• Experience reviewing audit reports and providing constructive challenge on findings and evidence.
• Experience coordinating or developing auditors or technical specialists.
• Strong Quality Management Systems knowledge.
• Ability to interpret and apply technical standards, policies and procedures.
• Experience producing or improving quality procedures, guidance or audit methodology.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends from audit data.
• Experience in continuous improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• ISO 17024, ISO 17021 and/or ISO 45001 advantageous.
• Membership of CQI/IRCA advantageous.
• Internal Auditor qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and quality oversight of global internal and third-party audit programme.
• Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with governance, policies and ISO standards.
• Review audit reports and findings, providing constructive challenge.
• Coordinate and guide auditors and technical specialists across international network.
• Develop and maintain audit policies, procedures and guidance.
• Support auditor development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Produce concise audit performance reports and metrics.
• Identify risks, trends and opportunities for improvement from audits.
• Assist with implementation of audit methodology across the organisation.
• Deliver training and guidance on audit best practices.
