Job summary

Wärtsilä UK is seeking a Propulsion Controls Service Engineer to deliver on‑site electrical troubleshooting, inspections, adjustments and commissioning for ship propulsion systems worldwide. The role requires leading repairs and installations, and acting as a technical expert for customers and engineers in the field.

You will travel extensively (approx. 170 days/year), collaborate with service coordinators, and take ownership of final reporting and documentation, while upholding Wärtsilä

Qualifications

• Experience with ship propulsion systems and electrical troubleshooting.
• Strong background in marine engineering or related technical field.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams during complex service operations.
