About The Role

We have now a fantastic opportunity for you to join our organization as a Global Projects and Accounts Manager. In this role will support Detector Electronics (Det-Tronics) and Autronica Fire and Security (Autronica) to drive business growth through major EPCs, system providers, and end users globally but with primary focus on Northern Europe. You will introduce our solutions to these audiences through seminars, exhibitions, and product presentations, as well as provide solutions and influence specifications for fire and gas safety systems and products. The location for the position is London, UK or the Netherlands (home-based).

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

  • Coordinate and manage major complex project pursuits from discovery to close as well as advise, coach, and actively assist sales channels in their sales activities.
  • Develop a clear business plan that achieves sales goals and go-to-market strategies for major projects and strategic accounts.
  • Maintain key customer accounts for European EPC/DCS companies and meet and exceed set targets with regular customer visits.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers and act as the customer advocate for any issues that require technical assistance and follow up.
  • Identify market needs and new opportunities, provide insights on competitors, present regular reports to the leadership team.

Qualifications We Are Looking For

We are looking for self-motivated people who demonstrate excellent communication and networking skills with passion for continuous improvement to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You also have the ability to present ideas and strategies in a clear way to diverse audiences, including leadership and decision-makers. If this is you, get in touch.

As a Minimum You Must Have

  • A technical degree (M.Sc. or B.S.) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering. Relevant work experience can compensate for a lack of qualification.
  • Experience in outside sales of instrumentation to industrial customers or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing multiple and large projects, project sales initiatives and proposal development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Ability to address issues and provide progress reports to drive projects to successful completion.
  • Strong selling and logical thinking skills coupled with the judgment necessary for strategic decision-making.
  • Comfortable and able to travel as needed to meet business requirements (estimated 35-45% based on customer availability).
