Job description

The Yard Creative is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our growing team for maternity cover, ensuring our clients receive the highest standard of service.


You will report to the MD and support the delivery of research, strategy, and design for clients in the UK and internationally. Responsibilities include managing project delivery, communicating with clients, gathering briefs, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while encouraging further sales.

The role involves working with multiple projects across sectors such as lifestyle, consumer brands, FMCG, fin-tech, property, and retail. You will collaborate with a team of creatives and strategists and be responsible for resource and time planning.

As the first point of contact, you will manage all aspects of account and project management, assist clients, resolve issues, and strengthen client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Line management and mentorship for the account management team
  • Monitoring and supporting project progress to mitigate risks
  • Producing forecasting reports for key accounts
  • Onboarding new clients and developing relationships
  • Seeking new opportunities and generating briefs
  • Project and resource planning
  • Managing full project lifecycle from kick-off to delivery
  • Collaborating with business development for sales growth
  • Communicating briefs to creative teams
  • Ensuring projects adhere to scope, timelines, and budgets
  • Managing communication channels and documentation
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Escalating issues and making critical decisions
  • Providing advice on agency specialties and client products

Key Skills:

  • Experience with project management software (MS Projects, Excel, Streamtime)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving attitude and positive outlook
