Job summary

Select Talent is partnering with a global manufacturing business to appoint a Global Procurement Manager. This newly created, high-impact standalone role will shape procurement across international sites and lead a multi-million-pound indirect spend and consumables portfolio.

Reporting to the Global Procurement Director, you will influence senior stakeholders, improve processes and supplier strategy, and collaborate across Operations, Supply Chain, Innovation, Quality and Finance to add

Qualifications

• Degree in business, supply chain, engineering or science.
• CIPS qualification or working towards a procurement credential.
• Proven procurement experience in manufacturing or complex environments.
• Indirect procurement, consumables and project-based sourcing across sites.
• Experience managing multi-million-pound spend and supplier relationships.
• Strong commercial, risk-focused negotiation and governance capabilities.
• Experience improving procurement processes, systems and governance.
• Able to influence senior stakeholders and global colleagues without direct authority.
• Solutions-focused and motivated to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy for indirect spend, consumables and key projects.
• Oversee input for innovation and NPD, aligning suppliers, cost, quality and terms.
• Review supply base, identify savings and resilience improvements.
• Lead tenders, supplier negotiations and commercial agreements.
• Assess total cost in sourcing decisions including price, lead times and terms.
• Improve procurement processes, reporting and ways of working.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Innovation, Quality and Finance.
• Coordinate multiple projects to deliver the right business outcomes.
