Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Commercial Finance professional to lead pricing strategy and profitability analysis across international markets. You will design innovative pricing proposals, collaborate with Partners, and ensure accurate reflection of rate arrangements in systems.

The role focuses on data-driven decision making, client value, and cross-border profitability, with engagement across Finance and business services.

Qualifications

Experience in Commercial Finance within a fast-paced professional services environment.
Ability to analyse and model financial data and present client-ready insights.
Strong stakeholder management across Partners, Directors and support functions.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with SAP and Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

Support to drive international pricing agenda and profitability across markets.
Design and propose innovative, value-driven fee arrangements using data insights.
Follow up on arrangements with partners, assess profitability, and review scope changes.
Ensure rate arrangements are reflected accurately in systems and compliant with pricing policies.
Prepare tactical pricing proposals from RFP requirements with client strategy focus.
Champion maintenance of matter budgeting tools to improve financial planning.
Raising awareness of client profitability across the firm and collaborating with sectors.
Provide finance updates, trends, and profitability guidance to Partners and Leaders.
