Job summary

Aviagen Turkeys Ltd, headquartered near Chester, UK, is seeking a Managing Director to lead its international distribution and overall performance across Europe, Russia, Central Asia and new markets. The role carries full executive autonomy within Aviagen Group standards, with accountability for financial and operating results.

You will oversee strategic planning, KPI governance, and major capital investments, while maintaining senior relationships with customers, distributors, and partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ senior leadership experience in poultry, with full P&L accountability.
• Experience leading multi-country operations through subsidiary leaders.
• Proven ability to manage international markets, including currency and sanctions risk.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead Aviagen Turkeys Ltd and its international distribution portfolio.
• Own ATL P&L and develop the business strategy and operating plans.
• Set direction and budgets, review performance with business unit leaders.
• Manage distribution routes, partnerships, and new market entry.
• Maintain senior relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
• Represent ATL at the Turkey Group level and with the Aviagen group.
