Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Project Controls Service Lead to drive major project controls across the Property & Buildings sector. You will manage workloads, lead capability development, and deliver controls on large, multidisciplinary programs while collaborating with internal teams and partners.

The role emphasizes shaping project management solutions and sustaining high standards in governance, with some travel to regional offices as workload expands.

Qualifications

• Architectural, engineering or project management degree.
• Membership of a Professional Institution.
• Charter Project Manager with the APM or working towards it.
• Experience of Project Controls and management for complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Drive to grow a new service line within the property and buildings BU.
• Demonstrates collaborative behaviours and health and safety commitment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage current workload and pipeline for Project Controls on major projects and opportunities.
• Assist PMO Lead to define scope and best practice in project controls and schedule management.
• Support management of Project Controllers in the UK and Global Capability Centres.
• Lead in development of skills and capabilities in Project Controls.
• Provide Project Controls on major projects and programmes.
• Collaborate on development of future project management solutions with partners.
