Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC is seeking a Payroll Specialist - International to ensure accurate, compliant and timely payroll delivery across our international offices. You will support a period of transformation, aligning local legislation with group standards and driving automation and data insight.

With 3+ years in multi‑jurisdictional payroll, you will collaborate with HR, Finance and external providers, contributing to a resilient, scalable payroll function that supports growth and regulatory change.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing end-to-end payroll across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of statutory requirements, tax regulations and social security systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with a professional and reliable approach to work delivery.
• Proven ability to manage and work effectively with external payroll providers, ensuring service quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of countries with flexibility to support others as required.
• Keep up to date with payroll legislation in relevant jurisdictions and apply changes for compliance.
• Collaborate with external providers and internal teams to support payroll delivery and resolve issues.
• Support onboarding of new countries into the payroll framework, including system setup and testing.
• Identify and implement improvements to streamline payroll processes and automation.
• Maintain accurate and secure payroll data to support controls and audits.
• Produce regular and ad hoc payroll reports and insights for compliance and planning.
• Contribute to payroll projects such as system upgrades and policy harmonisation.
