Job summary

Genuit Group, Doncaster, is seeking an experienced Head of Payroll to lead our UK and international payroll activities. You will ensure accurate, on-time salary processing and compliance across statutory requirements, while driving efficiency and governance.

You will report to the Group Reward Director and manage a team of four payroll professionals, delivering high-quality payroll services and transformation initiatives through technology and automation.

Qualifications

• Significant payroll leadership experience within a complex organisation.
• Expert knowledge of UK payroll legislation, PAYE, NI, pensions and statutory payments.
• Experience leading payroll systems, projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end payroll function across the Group.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery, including year-end requirements.
• Maintain payroll governance, controls and compliance with UK legislation.
• Drive payroll transformation, process improvements and system enhancements.
• Partner with People & Culture, Finance, Tax, HRIS and external providers to deliver a payroll service.
• Act as the organisation's payroll subject matter expert.
• Develop and inspire a high-performing payroll team.
