Job summary
Solent Group is seeking an Operations Director to lead the operational, digital, sustainability, and resilience pillars of Solent's transformation portfolio, ensuring world-class operations across global markets.
You will translate strategic priorities into executable plans, drive AI and automation, embed ESG commitments, and build a high-performing leadership pipeline while reporting to the COO and Board.
Qualifications
- Experience leading multi-site, multi-function operations.
- Proven ability to align operations with strategy and product development.
- Strong governance and board engagement experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the operational pillar of Solent's multi-year transformation portfolio.
- Partner with the COO and Executive Board to shape the Strategic Projects Roadmap.
- Drive operational excellence through systems visibility and continuous improvement.
- Lead Solent's digital transformation with AI, automation, and predictive analytics.
- Embed sustainability and ESG commitments into operations and retailer alignment.
- Expand enterprise resilience with a full risk framework across exposures.
- Oversee speed-to-market for new product launches and cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead operational budgeting, capital investment planning, and ROI analysis.
- Report progress to the COO and Operating Board with governance and accountability.
