Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Non-CRO Vendor Director to lead external vendor strategy for global clinical trials. The role oversees vendor performance, onboarding, governance and risk management across sites, with a focus on inspection readiness and cross-country collaboration.

You will drive KPI dashboards, manage CAPA processes, and partner with GTL, CTM, procurement and study teams to optimize R&D spend and trial delivery across therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated effective management of external vendors
• Proven project management expertise across studies
• Extensive knowledge of ICH GCP and regulatory expectations
• Ability to lead cross-functional matrix teams in trials
• Experience working across countries/globally

Responsibilities

• Vendor selection and trial delivery oversight across a portfolio
• Governance reviews, escalation paths and reporting of performance
• Inspection readiness plans, risk logs and regulatory support
• Quality management, CAPA tracking and root-cause analysis
• Vendor performance dashboards and KPI/KRI monitoring
• Budget review, cost control and change order oversight
• Study close-out evaluations and lessons learned
