Job summary

The Weir Group in Glasgow seeks an experienced Network Lead to shape and govern our global network infrastructure in a hybrid work arrangement. You will drive design, strategy, and operations for a secure, scalable backbone supporting our worldwide operations.

Travel may be required to engage with vendors and global teams; CCNA is required, CCIE desirable; strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum CCNA certification; CCIE or equivalent experience highly desirable.
• Proven design, implementation and support of enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience with globally distributed teams across time zones.
• Strong written and verbal communication and escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of global network infrastructure.
• Oversee network service delivery, vendor management, and incidents.
• Balance strategy with day-to-day operations and change projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align network with business goals.
