Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) is seeking an Engineer to join the Network Engineering team. You will lead design, validation, deployment and 24x7 operational support for ICE's global network.

The role involves working on large-scale office refreshes, migrations, and cross-team collaboration. Ideal candidates bring strong problem-solving skills, automation experience in Python, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ hands-on experience with production networks.
• 3+ years' experience designing and implementing complex network solutions.
• Strong knowledge of BGP/OSPF and NAT/routing policies.
• Experience developing in Python and automation
• Proficient with Git for version control.
• Basic Unix/Linux system administration.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to operate under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, support and maintain mixed vendor network infrastructure.
• Document and publish standards and designs.
• Assist ICE staff with problem solving and escalation procedures.
• Follow operational policies and promote adherence to them.
• Provide technical knowledge to ensure safe, effective network changes.
• Collaborate with IT teams across the organization.
• Lead incident investigations and drive service restoration.
