Job summary

pladis Global is seeking a proactive MRP Coordinator to join our supply chain team in Manchester. You will ensure material availability and data integrity, supporting safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

You will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Warehouse, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Finance and HR, as well as external suppliers. The role emphasizes problem solving, data analysis and strong relationships to keep production on track and to drive improvements in

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, planning, logistics or operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good working knowledge of SAP or similar business systems.
• Excellent Excel and data management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily/weekly material requirements to support production plans.
• Run ATP and weekly MRP processes; ensure supplier visibility of demand.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure material availability.
• Balance stock with working capital targets and communicate risks.
• Support site KPIs and production schedules with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain data in SAP and other systems; resolve stock discrepancies.
• Participate in cross-functional projects (NPD, site improvements).
• Provide cover for a range of supply chain activities as needed.
