Job summary

Harbour Energy seeks a seasoned Global Mobility Specialist in Mexico City to manage pre-assignment, on-assignment and repatriation processes, ensuring smooth cross-border transfers. You will coordinate visas, work permits, tax obligations and relocation logistics for Mexico-based mobile employees, partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver compliant, cost-aware programs.

The role requires 10+ years of HR experience, including 5+ in mobility, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years HR experience with at least 5 in Global Mobility.
• Strong knowledge of immigration, taxation and relocation logistics.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Experience in oil and gas or complex global operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global mobility and expat programs from Mexico including pre-assignment and repatriation.
• Manage visas, work permits, taxes and compliance.
• Coordinate with relocation vendors, immigration lawyers and tax consultants.
• Maintain accurate records of assignments, costs and employee details.
• Provide guidance and support to mobile employees and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in planning cross-border transfers, considering tax and immigration implications.
