A Snapshot of Your Day: Working in a global team with an open approach that will support you and your development. You will perform a full range of international social security activities for Global Mobility Management Siemens Energy. Your focus will be defining, implementing and controlling global processes in alignment with Global Governance, vendors, Business functions, Accounting, Controlling and Payroll Department. Furthermore, you will cooperate with tax and social insurance advisors in order to optimize contributions, manage or contribute to preparation of needed documentation.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Global Social Security Strategy and Processes: Develop and implement global social security frameworks aligned with Tax, GMM, and Payroll strategies, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Cross-Border Social Security Expertise: Provide guidance on social security matters for various assignment types, with a focus on business travel, short-term assignments, and project workers.
  • Policy and Process Management: Ensure social security policies align with organizational strategies, creating systems for accurate registration, imputation, and delivery of contributions while ensuring compliant coordination of benefits.
  • Collaboration and Advisory: Work closely with Global Mobility Experts, Expatriate Payroll and Tax teams, and Assignment Consultants; provide advice to financial accounting teams and manage communication with social insurance authorities.
  • Audits, Analysis, and Compliance: Support global expatriate social security audits, conduct insurance coverage analysis, and ensure compliance with international agreements and legal developments, translating them into actionable processes.
  • Process Improvement and Vendor Management: Drive transformation initiatives as part of a broader HR program, identifying process improvement opportunities, defining standards, and managing external service providers to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery.
What You Bring
  • Educational Background and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Finance, Tax, or Human Resources with Global Mobility/Payroll experience, or skilled auditor with expertise in global operations or related fields.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Over 6 years of professional experience in social security and tax, particularly in Germany and Europe, with deep expertise in individual tax concepts such as personal income tax, social security, shadow payroll, and payroll processes.
  • Global Mobility and Corporate Tax Expertise: Strong understanding of global mobility management processes, cross-border employee transfers, and corporate tax principles, with experience in multi-country social security/tax delivery and governance.
  • Analytical and Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, a structured and proactive working style, and experience in process re-engineering and implementing change across global operations.
  • Interpersonal and Intercultural Skills: Effective intercultural communication and moderator skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams and regions.
  • Independent and Organized Work Approach: Ability to work independently, systematically, and proactively to manage complex tasks and deliver solutions in dynamic environments.
