Job summary

City St George’s, University of London is seeking a Global Opportunities Officer to support the outbound student and staff mobility portfolio. You will lead school liaison, promotion, partnership coordination and the outbound student experience, guiding engagement throughout the mobility lifecycle from promotion through to return.

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of global opportunities, student mobility or international programmes.
  • They will have the ability to deliver a high-quality, student-focused service, manage multiple competing priorities and build effective working relations.

Responsibilities

  • The Global Opportunities Officer supports the effective delivery of the University’s outbound student and staff mobility portfolio.
  • The postholder has primary responsibility for School liaison, promotion, partnership coordination and the outbound student experience.
  • The role coordinates student and staff engagement and support throughout the mobility lifecycle from promotion to participation and return.
  • They provide clear guidance, support student wellbeing, coordinate safeguarding and travel-risk processes, and escalate emerging concerns or emergencies.
