Job summary

University of Brighton is seeking a Global Mobility Manager to lead its international mobility portfolio, including study abroad, Erasmus+ and exchange programmes. You will develop strategies, manage partnerships and oversee student recruitment and support to deliver high-quality mobility opportunities.

The role drives programme compliance and financial performance while leading a dedicated Global Mobility team and collaborating with academic and international partners.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of international student mobility programmes and exchange models.
• Experience managing international mobility or study abroad programmes in higher education.
• Experience leading staff and delivering services in a complex organisation.
• Experience managing externally funded mobility schemes like Turing or Erasmus+.
• Experience in partnership management and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong project management, organisational, planning and analytical skills.
• Experience of budgeting and monitoring financial performance.
• Strong communication and relationship management abilities.
• Experience leading projects and influencing across organisational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management, development and delivery of the university's global mobility activity.
• Oversee study abroad, international exchange, Turing Scheme, Erasmus+ and Junior Year Abroad programmes.
• Develop operational plans, manage mobility partnerships and collaborate with schools, registries and international partners.
• Ensure programme management, compliance and financial performance.
• Oversee student recruitment, preparation and support; manage externally funded mobility activity.
• Lead the Global Mobility team and manage budgets; contribute to future mobility programmes.
