Job summary
Revvity, Llantrisant, is seeking a Global Commodity Specialist (Metals - Instruments) to lead the metals sourcing strategy across diagnostics and life science instrumentation. You will partner with manufacturing sites, R&D and business leaders to provide strategic sourcing for daily operations and product roadmaps.
The role entails developing the global supplier network, driving material productivity projects, and building alliances with existing suppliers while identifying new sources to ensure
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related engineering discipline
- Strong negotiation skills and contracting/supply agreement experience
- Experience with metals commodity sourcing is preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the metals commodity globally for Diagnostic and Life Science instrumentation
- Partner with sites, R&D and business leaders to deliver strategic sourcing
- Develop the global preferred supplier network and identify new suppliers
- Drive major material productivity projects and supplier performance improvements
- Collaborate with site procurement to ensure redundancy and resiliency across the supply chain
- Support NPI and M&A activities with supplier opportunities and risk assessments
