Job summary

TAGGED RESOURCES in Manchester is seeking an experienced Senior Merchandiser to own supplier relationships, product development, sourcing, pricing, and the end-to-end critical path across international markets.

You will build strong partnerships with global suppliers, lead negotiations on terms, MOQs, and pricing, and drive the merchandising process from costing through to final margin. The role emphasizes collaboration with Design, Sales, Logistics and Finance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in merchandising, product sourcing, buying, or supply chain management.
• Experience managing international suppliers and clients.
• Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and cost negotiation.
• Knowledge of FOB shipping and import/export documentation.
• Ability to coordinate across Design, Sales, Finance and Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term supplier partnerships across global markets.
• Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, terms, MOQs and lead times.
• Own end-to-end merchandising process from costing to final margin.
• Oversee order placement and resolve production and supply chain issues.
• Lead CP meetings to track milestones and escalate risks.
• Manage FOB shipping documentation and compliance.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to track shipments.
• Monitor supplier performance against timelines and costs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align sourcing with business goals.
• Analyze costs and opportunities to improve margins.
• Act as a central point of contact among teams, suppliers, and logistics.
• Support continuous improvement of sourcing processes.
