Job summary

TAGGED RESOURCES in Manchester is seeking a Sales Import Merchandiser to join a busy merchandising team. You will pursue keen prices and ensure the timely delivery of products to contract customers.

You will work with customers and the Sales Team across UK, Europe and the Middle East, manage contract orders for stock, and handle costings for development styles while raising orders in the PLMS system. The role demands strong organisation and communication with suppliers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in apparel sales import merchandising or similar role.
• Excellent excel and computer skills.
• Strong communication with international suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and Sales Team on UK, European and Middle Eastern contract accounts.
• Manage customer contracts and orders for our stock range.
• Handle costings for development styles.
• Raise orders on our in-house PLMS system.
• Manage the critical path for contract orders.
• Liaise with Sales, Account Managers, Shipping, Design and Garment Technologists.
• Order or send out labelling and packaging to suppliers when relevant.
• Manage press and photography sample requirements for customer orders.
• Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence resolving queries.
• Generate progress reports.
