Job summary

International SOS in London is seeking a Travel Consultant to coordinate cost-effective itineraries and ticketing for medical deployments. You will handle multi-passenger bookings, approvals, and reissues while maintaining high attention to detail and strong customer service.

Excellent knowledge of a GDS system (AMADEUS preferred) and 2+ years in business travel are essential. Fares and ticketing experience, multilingual skills, and flexibility in crises are a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of a GDS system, preferably Amadeus.
• Typically 2+ years in business travel.
• Fares and ticketing experience; IATA Fares certs 1 & 2 preferred.
• Strong communication and attention to detail; able to handle multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Create quickest routes and cost-effective itineraries.
• Establish quotations and alternatives.
• Coordinate travel for multi-passengers and escorts.
• Reprice and recalculate for exchanges and reissues.
• Issue tickets and manage reservations.
• Advise on visa requirements with designated partners.
• Respond to quotations for medical repatriation/evacuation.
• Invoice tickets and handle back-office tasks.
• Follow internal policy guidelines.
• Monitor queues in Amadeus.
• Ensure bookings complete with special requests (oxygen, wheelchairs, etc.).
• Assist with training and onboarding on travel policies/tools.
• Undertake project work as requested by travel operations manager.
