Job summary

Ipsen seeks a Global Medical Affairs Director, Neurosciences (Migraine) to drive medical strategy, evidence generation, and global trial oversight. You will lead cross-functional teams across Medical Affairs, Brand, and Market Access, providing scientific input and ensuring alignment with the Medical Plan.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD) or advanced degree in a relevant scientific field.
• Extensive experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Proven track record in managing global medical affairs activities and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of clinical development, regulatory requirements, and compliance.
• Experience in developing and implementing medical strategies and evidence generation plans.
• Experience in neuroscience or related therapeutic areas.
• Strong network with KOLs and scientific societies.
• Experience in conducting and managing global clinical trials.
• Knowledge of real-world evidence generation and health economics.
• English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic design and execution of medical projects to generate insights and address needs.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Brand, and Market Access to align on strategy.
• Represent Ipsen at scientific meetings and engage with healthcare professionals.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders and investigators.
• Attend major conferences, coordinate Medical Affairs activities, and present externally.
• Provide input into lifecycle management initiatives and strategic goals.
