Kongsberg Maritime is seeking a Repair and Overhaul Engineer (Mechanical) based in the UK with frequent international travel to service vessels worldwide.

You will work on-site at customer locations and vessels, supporting mechanical and hydraulic systems, installations, commissioning and lifecycle upgrades within the RAS product line, collaborating with global teams and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Time-served in mechanical engineering discipline.
• Recognised hydraulic qualification or extensive hydraulic experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.

Responsabilités

• Assist with on-site overhaul, maintenance and repair of mechanical and hydraulic systems on equipment installed aboard customer vessels.
• Support installation and commissioning of lifecycle upgrades within the RAS product line.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new KM equipment within the RAS product range.
• Act as a professional ambassador for Kongsberg Maritime in all customer interactions.
• Provide remote technical and sales support when not deployed on a vessel.
• Ensure all work complies with legal requirements and company Health & Safety policies.
