Job summary

Mastercard seeks a Manager, Strategy to partner with Strategy & Operations and Global Markets teams to identify and scale the company’s most significant commercial opportunities across 200+ markets.

The role involves gathering and analysing information, testing hypotheses, and developing actionable recommendations; presenting results to Global Markets leadership and implementing them with cross-functional teams. You will report to the Vice President, Strategy, Global Markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university; advanced degree/MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of corporate strategy or top-tier management consulting.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work cross-region and across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify solutions to Mastercard’s most significant commercial opportunities across Global Markets.
• Lead projects with subject-matter experts across Global Markets and regional teams.
• Develop project roadmaps to meet strategic targets and financial commitments.
• Present results to Global Markets leadership and implement recommendations.
• Structure ambiguous problems and derive data-driven insights.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly to senior leaders.
