Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Director to lead the global SME market expansion strategy, owning GDV growth, net revenue, and pipeline creation. You will partner with regional leadership, Product, Finance, Franchise, Marketing, and Sales to identify whitespace opportunities and accelerate growth at scale.

The role combines strategic leadership, commercial execution, and ecosystem development to build scalable growth engines across priority markets and channels.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in strategy, payments, product, or related industries.
• Proven track record owning revenue, GDV, market share, or pipeline objectives.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and present to C-suite audiences.
• Strong financial acumen with investment framework experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead global SME market expansion strategy with GDV, NR, and pipeline accountability.
• Identify whitespace opportunities, shape investments, and accelerate growth at scale.
• Lead growth programs, pilots, and test-and-learn efforts across geographies.
• Develop executive-level business cases and commercialization plans.
• Serve as strategic sponsor for growth initiatives from discovery to scale.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Franchise, Marketing, Sales and regional leadership.
