Job summary

Informa Markets seeks an experienced Editor to lead its editorial strategy and content output across all platforms. This high-profile role manages an in-house team and a broad network of international contributors, shaping long-term vision and global brand representation.

The Editor will oversee editorial outputs, ensure high journalistic standards, and identify opportunities to evolve IBI’s digital presence and paid content offerings.

Qualifications

• First-hand media experience in leisure marine sector is essential.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in editorial leadership roles, preferably in B2B or specialist media.
• Strong understanding of multi-platform content strategies (print, digital, video, events).
• Exceptional editing, writing, and commissioning skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute IBI’s editorial strategy across print, digital, and event platforms.
• Oversee planning, commissioning, editing, and production of all outputs.
• Lead a small editorial team and coordinate international contributors.
• Represent IBI at major boat shows and industry events worldwide.
• Lead editorial input for conferences and awards across the portfolio.
