Job summary

United Media in London is seeking a Chief Editor to lead our growing magazines and shape the voice of our Insurtech-focused brands. You will own editorial strategy, oversee end-to-end production, and ensure high-quality content across print and digital formats.

You will work closely with the CEO, manage a small editorial team, and drive growth through compelling storytelling, rigorous editing, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, English, or a related field.
• +5 years of work experience in a magazine or media company.
• Have a UK work permit.
• Exceptional writing, editing and creative skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail and well-organised work.

Responsibilities

• Research industry topics and ideas for stories and articles.
• Interview relevant people.
• Copywrite, write, edit and proofread content for magazines.
• Construct magazines including photos, design and artwork (with help from the Graphic Designer).
